Da Lat Railway Station

Da Lat Railway Station is one of the oldest stations in Indochina. The shape of this station is somehow similar to the majestic Lang Biang Mountain. This architecture is like the southern station of France. One special thing is the roof of the station has 3 spiked tops symbolizing the peaks of Lang Biang.

Since 1991, Da Lat Railway Station only serves for tourism activities and no longer used to carry passengers and goods. It only operates 7km route from Da Lat to tai Mai Station for tourists. This is an outstanding architectural work of Caodaism in Da Lat. Located about 7km east of Da Lat city center, Da Phuoc Temple was built in 1938 and is the largest Cao Dai Temple in Vietnam. This stunning temple is one of the only that practices Cao Dai syncretism-combining different religious beliefs that would otherwise be considered contradictory. Catholicism, Buddhism and Hinduism are all incorporated, honoring the principle of a singular God.

Da Phuoc Temple has experienced many historical events. It has been damaged and repaired many times to get the perfect appearance as today. Visitors to this place will be impressed by the splendor and sophistication of this architecture with 4 Long Hoa pillars, 2 soaring bell tower, Bat Quai Dai, etc. Any details of the architecture are sophisticated and can be described the word “perfect”.

Hang Nga Guesthouse was built in 1990 on a nearly 1,900m2 campus. It belongs to Dang Viet Nga – an architect graduated from Moscow University of Architecture. Not only being in top 8 beautiful architecture in Da Lat, Crazy house is also selected by foreign media as one of the most exotic architecture in the world. Besides, each room here has its own name such as eagle room, ant room, tiger room, kangaroo room, etc.

Scientific Research Institute of Highland, also known as Da Lat Biology Institute specializes in researching and displaying rare animal and plant specimens in the Central Highlands in general and in Lam Dong in particular. It was built in 1950 and brought into use since 1990. This architectural work has an ancient but still modern beauty. From here, you will also have a wonderful view of Da Lat city.

In addition to being open for visitors, the Central Highland Biological Institute also introduces activities and calls for the protection of the ecological environment as well as the protection of precious and rare animal species that are in danger of extinction in the area of Lam Dong and the Central Highlands. You have to go straight along Xo Viet Nghe Tinh street, pass the crossroads then turn left to Tung Lam Hill about 500m and you will reach the destination.
