Tan Lap floating village in Long An
Tan Lap floating village is a newly tourist attraction in Mekong Delta in flood season. Despite of that, it attracts many domestic as well as international travelers to the village and enjoy relaxing feeling and relieve stress.
Coming to Tan Lap floating village, tourists will discover a 5km-long trail through the indigo forest. Another thing that you should not miss joining here is to take a boat trip to see lotus fields in blooming season.

Tram Chim National Park in Dong Thap – Mekong Delta in flood season
Tram Chim National Park is located in Tam Nong District, Dong Thap Province. It became a natural reserve since 1994. This is the place that has the largest flooding area of Dong Thap Muoi area. It is recognized as the 4th biosphere reserve (ramsar) Vietnam and 2,000th in the world with more than 232 kinds of birds. Among them, there are many rare and precious species such as peacock, painted stork, Dien Dien, giant ibis, especially red-headed cranes – the bird that is in the world red list of endangered species.
Tip: Instead of depart from early morning, you should visit Tram Chim National Park in the afternoon to admire the more wonderful scenery.
Dong Tam snake farm in Tien Giang
Located in Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang province with the total area of about 30 ha, Dong Tam is one of the largest snake farms in Vietnam. This place has more than 400 species. It is considered as the first snake museum in Vietnam. Every year, Dong Tam snake farm attracts many domestic and foreign tourists to visit, study and research.
Coming here, you will have an opportunity to see from non-poisonous snakes to deadliest snakes in your own eyes. The snakes here are raised in natural habitat. It includes 3 areas for each species: lake and island farming area, an area for poisonous snakes and another for python.
- Get to Dong Tam snake farm: by motorbike or car from Dong Tam Junction
- Special thing: tourists can buy snakes at a price from $8 to $10 per kilogram depending on the type of snake.
