Imperial Citadel of Thang Long

Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is a relic complex that associates with the history of Thang Long – Hanoi. It was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage on August 1, 2012 during the preparation of the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long. If you want to know more about the Thang Long Royal Citadel, you can hire guides there. Although there is no prescribed price, but it is usually about 100,000 – 200,000 VND for a tour.

Ba Dinh Square and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum became the sacred space of Hanoi capital and the whole country. Hanoi St. Joseph’s Cathedral as one of the seven famous churches in Hanoi. This site is always on the top of the list because it is one of the oldest works of the capital but is still elegant, has the antique look as well as unique features.
The church was built in 1884 and was inaugurated right on Christmas Day in 1887. This is one of the first Western architecture built in Hanoi. Over the years, the St. Joseph’s Cathedral has been a “witness” witnessing all changes of the capital over the past three centuries.
